Oh Snappy Day!

When Nick + Victoria contacted me about shooting their engagement, they originally wanted a nature backdrop for the shoot. I love a nature shoot, but boy am I glad they changed their minds a week later, because I loved what we were able to capture downtown. It definitely suited them more.

After getting engaged in the Bahamas, they will be returning there next year for their wedding as well. I can only imagine what a beautiful bride Victoria will be. Um guys, you know I travel, right? I’m just sayin’…

It was really hard to choose which pics to blog, there were so many I loved.

This is the first of several blog posts to catch up on the past few months, but I’m starting with the most recent & working backwards (I’m crazy like that). You might remember Michael & Megan from a previous blog post (he’s the one who booked me to shoot their actual engagement, unbeknownst to Megan!). Well they were great to work with, and they asked me to shoot their wedding on March 8th (also my anniversary, a lucky day if you ask me!). I was hesitant at first since I’d never shot a wedding before, but now I’m so glad I did! And my sweet husband helped, which was fun.
Congrats Megan & Michael! You have such great family & friends, and we were excited to be a part of your story.

This shoot was so much fun! Michael found me online and explained he was proposing to Megan and wanted a photographer there to document the engagement to share with her family who are out-of-state. How sweet is that? We made arrangements to meet at the Botanical Gardens, Megan was given a story by her boss about a function they needed to attend at the Gardens, and the rest is documented below! What a sweet couple, and I wish them the best! They are getting married on the same date M & I married last year (March 8), a great date in my opinion!
