Project 365, or, How I Plan To Question My Sanity in 2010
Thursday, December 31st, 2009Anyone addicted to Flickr like I am has heard about Project 365, but for those who aren’t I’ll explain that it’s an attempt to take & share a picture everyday for a whole year. Obviously, I already take a lot of pictures, but not everyday. I struggle with the desire to capture everyday moments and how that conflicts with actually living that moment without a camera between me & the activity/kid/sunrise. But the reason I’ve decided to start this journey this year is because I want to challenge myself to get more creative and step out of my comfort zone with a project no one is paying me for (and therefore is open to mistakes that lead to happy accidents). Another component of the project is to share the images daily to contribute to and learn from the many Project 365 participants. Time to brush off the fun yet difficult lenses, the film SLR my bro-in-law gifted me, my Polaroid, my iPhone, and whatever else will capture a moment and get to snappin’…
Until then here are some snaps from a beautiful Texas winter day while waiting on some clients to arrive…
